Declining sales forced Circuit City into Chapter 11.And other companies are having to cut back, and close their lower performing stores.This effected stores like Lane Bryant, Starbucks, Eddie Bower, G.A.P., Foot Locker, Zales, JC Penny, K.B. Toys, Dillards, Sprint, Home Depot, Lowes, Anne Taylor, Macy’s, Disney, Nextel, Ethan Allen, and the list goes on and on. 

And we all hear what’s going on in Wall Street every day. Nearly 19 trillion dollars have been reported lost in the stock market, through the end of November. People have reported losing nearly half of their “portfolio” because of this. The economy is in very bad shape right now, and will be for quite some time to come, leaving people in a transition period, and not really sure where to turn.
